Casey Reed, the Founder of Salsalogy Dance Academy, is a Salsa and Latin Specialist with over 10 years of professional teaching experience. He is also a certified American and International Style Ballroom Instructor. Latin Dancing is Casey's specialty, but he has a wide repertoire including; West Coast Swing, Tango, Night Club 2-Step, and Hip-Hop.
Salsalogy Dance Studio provides to customers a wide range of dance and fitness programs. In our studio you can learn different styles of dance, but also exercise and workout under supervision of experienced instructors. We offer a wide variety of dances to fit your skill and dedication from kids to adult programs in Salsa, Mambo, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Bachata, Merengue, Night Club 2, Tango, Waltz, Swing and much more. We also provide fitness classes in Aerobics and Zoomba.
The Studio's staff possess variety a of experience and talent in all styles of dance, and we pride ourselves in our ability to make everyone comfortable in our welcoming, friendly and social dancing atmosphere.

As a teenager Casey was exposed in the streets to Freestyle and Hip Hop music. He took to dancing all of these genres with ease and passion. Soon after he was introduced to the dancing world, and in 1999 he began taking Ballroom and Latin classes at a local award winning world dance franchise. He improved his skills by participating in several workshops, classes and courses. Within the years he trained and coached with some of the best on the world dance scene dancers and choreographers, like Jeff Hill - World Champion Ballroom and West-Coast Swing Dancer; Mark Brock - 14 time U.S. Ballroom Champion; Mary Hoedeman - former U.S.C.W.D. and World Champion Dance instructor; Tery Worral - World Ballroom Instructor. He continues to study in Miami and NY to bring the latest styles of Salsa and other social dances to MI. He continuously studies the education of Ballroom and Latin Dance to bring you the cutting edge techniques, moves, and dance styles.
Casey became known for his energy and unique brand of social style dancing. Known for his patience, passion, and unique body movement and style, he helps to inspire all levels of dancers to find their own love for dance. Casey with a dance background spanning genres including Salsa, Cha-Cha, Hustle, has choreographed, performed and trained various teen and adult dancers in Michigan. As an instructor, he provided and prepared, several individuals for shows and competitions. He also directs beginners, intermediate and advanced workshops in Salsa, Cha-cha, Swing, Tango and Hip-Hop.
